Note: The Particles (PM2.5) maps shown are mirrored from the EPA AirNow website (www.airnow.gov). Data from Ventura County is uploaded to EPA where they post-process it to build the maps and provide summary information from Ventura and many other areas. There are five monitoring station within the Ventura County for Particles (PM2.5):

 

  • El Rio
  • Ojai
  • Piru
  • Simi Valley
  • Thousand Oaks

 

Why is a Particle Pollution Map not available?

 

Particle Pollution maps are available year-round for many cities. However,  sometimes maps are not available because of data collection and transmission problems. When these problems occur they are corrected as soon as possible.
