Particles (PM2.5) Mapping

Note: The Particles (PM2.5) maps shown are mirrored from the
EPA AirNow website (www.airnow.gov). Data from
Ventura County is uploaded to EPA where they
post-process it to build the maps and provide
summary information from Ventura and many other
areas. For more information, please visit the

There are five monitoring station within the Ventura
County for Particles (PM2.5):
- El Rio
- Ojai
- Piru
- Simi Valley
- Thousand Oaks
Why is a Particle Pollution Map not available?
Particle Pollution maps are available year-round for many
cities. However, sometimes maps are not available
because of data collection and transmission problems. When
these problems occur they are corrected as soon as possible.
