This posting is for the Ventura County Air Pollution
Control District; vacancy location is Ventura.
POSITION INFORMATION
Under immediate supervision, assists the Air
Pollution Control District (APCD) Supervising Air
Quality Engineer and the APCD Manager Engineering in the
planning, organization, direction and coordination of
various technical, fiscal, and engineering activities
and projects of the Air Pollution Control District’s
Engineering Division; and performs related duties as
required.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering or Environmental Studies AND (1) one year of
experience with permits and fiscal related matters in an
Air Pollution Control District or Air Pollution Control
District regulated industry. The ideal candidate will
also have some experience in the oil industry.
APPROXIMATE SALARY:
APCD Permit Processing Specialist I: $51,226 to
$71,848/annual
APCD Permit Processing Specialist II: $58,318 to
$81,801/annual
