What you can't see could hurt you!
Air refers to the moving body of gases that encircles Earth. This air mass is made up of:
- 78% nitrogen
- 21% oxygen
- 1% carbon monoxide / carbon dioxide / ozone / methane / ammonia
Plus the water vapor, clouds, dust, smoke, soot, and chemical compounds trapped in the air.
