Air Pollution Control Board meets March 10

Agenda includes ag grants and committee vacancy

 

The agenda for the Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board meeting on Tuesday, March 10, includes the following:

  • AGRICULTURAL GRANTS: The board will consider awarding $446,893 in grants to help farmers buy nine lower-emitting tractors and one zero-emission utility terrain vehicle to replace other equipment.  The proposed projects would reduce annual emissions of ozone precursors by 2.79 tons, diesel particulate matter by 0.17 tons and carbon dioxide by 85.22 metric tons.
  • COMMITTEE VACANCY: The board will receive notice that a position representing Moorpark and Simi Valley on the district’s Advisory Committee has been vacated.
