Public hearings on budget June 9 and 23
Proposed 2026-2027 plan available for review
The Air Pollution Control Board will hold public hearings regarding the adoption of the district’s proposed 2026-2027 fiscal year budget during its meetings on June 9 and 23. District staff will present the budget for review, and the hearings will provide the public with an opportunity to comment on it.
The board will vote on adoption of the budget at the June 23 meeting.
The meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Ventura County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room in the Hall of Administration at 800 S. Victoria Ave. in Ventura and livestreamed.
A summary of the proposed budget, supporting documents and a schedule of fees necessary to fund district programs is available for review at the Office of the Clerk of the Board in the Hall of Administration.
Written comments should be sent to Air Pollution Control Officer Ali Ghasemi at 4567 Telephone Road, Second Floor, Ventura CA 93003.
The public can speak during the meeting in person or remotely.
The meeting agenda, supporting documents, livestream link and instructions for providing public comments will be available on the Air Pollution Control Board Meetings webpage at least 72 hours prior to the meetings.
