Air Pollution Control Board meets Feb. 10
Agenda includes grants and director appointment
(Ventura, Calif. — Feb. 5, 2026) The agenda for the Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 10, includes the following:
- CHARGER TESTING: The board will consider a $65,000 grant toward the equipment needed for the county’s Weights & Measures Division to begin testing commercial EV chargers operated by public agencies for accuracy and safety.
- FARM GRANTS: Members will decide whether to award $1.94 million in grants to help farmers buy 30 tractors, four loaders, two forklifts and one pump that emit less pollution than the diesel equipment they will replace. The proposed projects would reduce annual emissions of ozone precursors by 16.8 tons, diesel particulate matter by 0.96 tons and carbon dioxide by 601. 7 metric tons.
- DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT: The board will meet in closed session to consider appointment of an administrative services director.
The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Ventura County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room at 800 S. Victoria Ave. in Ventura and livestreamed.
